Cress - Wrinkled Crinkled Crumpled *NEW 2024/25*

Lepidium sativum - approximately 300 seeds.

This is a very crinkly variety of garden cress that adds some bite to your salad with a distinctive peppery flavour.

If allowed to flower, these ornamental plants will be an excellent addition to floral arrangements both fresh and once dried. 

Bred by Frank Morton this is an OSSI (Open Source Seed Initiative) Pledged Variety. OSSI is working to maintain fair and open access to plant genetic diversity worldwide and ensuring freedom to use these resources for farmers, gardeners, breeders, and communities of this and future generations. 

 

 

 

 

 

Growing Info:

Can be sown in spring and autumn. Sow from Mar to May alternatively Aug-Sep. For overwintering transplant undercover.
